Kapa haka is offered to all Year 4 to 6 students. Year 3 students recorded as being of Māori and Pasifika ethnicity are also encouraged to attend. Students learn basic te reo and tikanga, karakia, and a range of action songs. Practise is held each Friday at 9:45am and whānau are welcome to attend. Performances throughout the year include school assemblies, graduation, and a number of external events such as Big Buzz Festival, the Kōwhai Festival and Carols in the park.
